Individuals and organizations sometimes face emergency events that harm people, cost money, and may even threaten the very existence of the organization or its members; we call this a crisis. Strategic leaders play a key role in planning for crisis events by looking ahead to foresee the likelihood that a specific threat will impact their organization, and then they take steps to either prevent or mitigate the threat before it occurs.  This course discusses how leaders handle crises.
